Keep in mind I just got the stuff set up this weekend (on my new NUC
running W10) and I haven't even fully populated the 4-port serial
adapter.
I was trying to figure out some issues with DXLab/Commander and my
IC-746Pro and IC-910H and in the course of that unplugged, deleted,
and reinstalled the USB->RS-232->TTL CI-V adapters (that have Prolific
drivers). When I did that, someone, either Windows or the Siig card
would get confused and/or angry and disappear as if being reset. They
came back fine and COM numbers all settled back the way they had been,
but this was annoying and potentially fun-ruining had I been in the
midst of a contest. ALL devices are on the same hub until the Amazon
drone drops off the new hub tomorrow and I can't help but think this
is part of the problem. I have USBview on my W7 system, a
power-gulping Dell P670, and didn't realize that'it's actually an MS
tool - I'll install that this evening now that I know where to get it
(I'd had it so long I'd forgotten). That may give me some insight.
