The Russian DX Contest (RDXC) takes place from 12:00
Saturday 21st March to 11:59 UTC Sunday 22nd March.

There are CW, SSB and Mixed options on the 6 contest
bands from 160-10m, with HP, LP (100w) and QRP (5w)
sections.

Single band entries are Mixed only.

Rules at http://www.rdxc.org/asp/pages/rulesg.asp

SD supports SO entries. V14.24 runs on Windows, on
Linux/Wine, and on Apple Mac with Bootcamp or Parallels.
It is free from www.ei5di.com.

   Select the "RDXC" template.

SD asks for your starting mode - if Mixed, you can
change mode at any time.

Work everyone.
Russians send 59(9) + 2-character oblast.
Others send 59(9) + Serial

SD pre-fills all Russian oblasts. Mults are oblasts
and countries, by band.

<Soapbox> If oblasts, like countries, can be
identified directly from the callsign, what's the
point of exchanging them? Why can't the Russians
send a serial - like everyone else? </Soapbox>

Use SDCHECK to create your Cabrillo log, and send it
to rdxc@srr.ru. Please mention SD in your soapbox
comments. This encourages others to try it.

73,
Paul EI5DI
