[SD-User] USB-COM ports - (COM13)

When setting up SD, the port for controlling the Radio is selectable from COM1 
to COM8.
 
I am using a USB-COM port adaptor and in system/hardware/device manager I am 
told that my USB-Serial Com ports are COM12 and COM13.
In 'Advanced Settings' for Com12,  I am told that Coms 1-11 are in use - I 
don't have that many devices!
 
Does anyone know how to solve this problem.
