I had previously configured COM1 for rig control and LPT1 for keying of
my Ten-Tec Omni 7 and both were working correctly.
Firing up SD for another practice session for upcoming SS-CW, I found
that the band and frequency weren't displayed correctly, and that the
transmitter wasn't being keyed, although "CW Keyer, Esc to exit" was
displayed for the time it should have taken for a message to be sent.
Entering the PORTS command, the correct info for the CW port (51) and the
rig control port (Com1) was displayed, and all the parameters for speed,
etc. were displayed correctly.
Returning to the program, I found that rig control and keying were now
operating correctly.
Exiting and re-starting SD didn't fix anything, nor did rebooting Windows.
Any suggestions?
