Well,  at least you can get that far !

When I try to 'download' it,  the usual guff shows up,  "do you want to run 
this" & when I click "Yes" there is a brief flash of yellow in a box,  very 
like the normal SD window.  It disappears,  and all is silence.  No further 
activity.

I'll keep trying until BERU,  then,  back to paper-and-pencil...
