Thanks, what I'm seeing is that TUNE asserts PTT but does not
also assert "key down".
I'll get this fixed, but it will be after the IOTA contest.

I've replaced IOTA.LST with new iota.lst, message2, but SD won't recognise
the new call sign entries. Is anyone else having similar problems or am I
missing something?

SD automatically loads IOTA.LST, a list of announced
island operations for the contest, and pre-fills the
island reference on a callsign match.
You can get an up-to-date IOTA.LST from
www.ei5di.com/iota.lst
Download or copy the contents to your SD folder, and
save it as iota.lst to replace any existing file of
the same name. Confirm that its name is iota.lst and
not iota.lst.txt or anything else - otherwise SD will
not find it.

Hi,
I find that the TUNE function does not work for me in SD v.18.34, everything
else that I have tried in the program seems to work perfectly. Has anybody
else noticed this? I have not tried to reinstall the program.

I had an issue with this in that Richard has not supplied a direct link
from his website and following the link in the email opened the file
(as a text file) in my browser window (Palemoon, Firefox derivative)
rather than allowing me to right click the link and save directly. When
saved within Palemoon and opened with Notepad (actually Notepad++) I
found that the line endings were just '0A' instead of '0D 0A'. SD would
only recognise thed very first entry in the .lst, SP5CW. I managed to
resave within Notepad++ in a different format, ANSI, which had the
proper line endings and it is now fine.
I assumed it was my browser which omitted the '0D's when I saved it,
not sure if Paul's original is like this. I could have attached my copy
to this reply but don't think the list supports attachments.

IOTA.LST is a standard text file. If the text displays in
your browser, select the text (Ctrl-A), then copy it (Ctrl-C).
It will be copied to Windows clipboard.
Then open NotePad or any other text editor and paste (Ctrl-V)
the already-copied text to a new file (from the clipboard).
Save the new file as IOTA.LST in your SD folder to replace
any existing file of the same name. In NotePad, if you try
to save the file as type "Text Documents (*.txt)" (the
default), NotePad will add a .TXT extension. You don't want
that! Save the file as type "All Files (*.*)" and no .TXT
extension will be added.
You MUST check that the saved file is named IOTA.LST, and
not anything else - such as IOTA.LST.TXT. You may not be
able to confirm this unless all file extensions are visible.
Please refer to the manual SD.PDF - "File Extensions" at
the top of page 3. If necessary, rename the file as
IOTA.LST. To find out how to rename a file, search Google
for rename file Windows.
Ctrl-A, C and V are standard Windows shortcuts.
If SD does not seem to pre-fill the expected IOTA references,
then your IOTA.LST is an old one, or is in some other folder
(not C:\SD), or is not named IOTA.LST.
If you're not familiar with all this, then practice on any
old text files. If you're not sure how to do something,
Google and YouTube are your friends.

Paul EI5DI
