[TenTec] A Scout Question... (fwd)

I just acquired a used Scout.

There seems to be a HUGE amount of a carrier-type bleed through noise on
the speaker... even with the audio completely turned down.

Is it possible that the CPU is getting in there, and has anyone else
experienced this???
