There is NO ALC line for TenTec equipment so you MUST leave it disconnected.
What you do is set the ALC control on the TenTec so you don't overdrive the
Ameritron. Since it takes about 110+ watts to overdrive it's almost
impossible to do even with the ALC full CW.

Can't help you here but I don't think that you should need an amp on CW. I
never run the amp there and always get good RST reports.
