[TenTec] Hercules driven by boatanchor

I want to buy either a Hercules II or a Centurion to go with my Paragon.  But
I'd also like to drive it from an old AM rig, a Johnson Ranger I, 60W AM.
Anyone know if that is reasonable with a Herc II?  Is the Centurion a better
way to go?
