I have never had a Scout in my hands so I did not know if it had a
synthesizer in it. I did, however, know that what this person hears is
NOT synthesizer noise. Nor is it phase noise since THAT would also be
signal dependant. I suspect that the isolation between the digital logic
signals and the analog part of the radio is not as good as one might
like. Probably fixable but is it worth the trouble?
