Hi Mitch: I've been waiting for one of the software guru's
to write a good operating program for the Omnis. So far,
only logging software available that has limited control
of the radio.
My need/want would be a complete operating program so I
could operate mine via modem from work. Of course, it
would have to be a voice/data modem to return the receive
audio, but thats not a problem.
Lets face it, work is the curse of the hamming class! I've
missed a lot of rare ones because I had to sit at my desk.
Go get 'em, tiger.

Hi, Gents --

I know this subject is brought up once in a while on this reflector, but
since new software products seem to be popping up on a regular basis,
I'll bring up the subject again.........

I'm looking for PC software to control my Omni 5. Last time, I think
DX4WIN came up as the best candidate, but from what I can recall, the
Omni 5 user would have to write his own software code...kinda cheesy, I
thought.

Has anyone heard of any new "plug and play" software that is Omni
5-friendly?
