Well, I did my first PTO rebuild (Omni-C) this evening and everything went
well as far as I can see. Unless there is a trick to it, the hardest job
was removing the trim ring. I must have missed the obvious, as it was a
bear to remove. wonder if anyone can comment on this?
The radio tunes much better now, and the "warble" is gone!!!
Took about 2 hours from start to finish.... had quite a mess to clean up....
anyhow, I am pleased with the results, but wanted to ask about that dreaded
trim ring :)
