This morning at 6am the problen was still here.
At 7:30 am I called Paul Clinton for help and while I was explaining the =
problem
to him, I could not remember something so I clicked the OMNI on and =
guess what.
It made me look like an idiot-duh. It worked perfectly.

Thought I would check out the bands a while ago but when I turned on =
the OMNI VI+
it was in transmit mode and and I could not change it. None of the =
buttons would function
nor would the vfo change. Nothing would change! Sidetone was on.
Tried a partial reset-it is not in transmit but no buttons or knobs =
worked. Dead silence.
Tried a full reset-it reset to 14000.00 and the vfo changes freq but =
nothing else works. Dead silence.
If I hold the enter button in after power is turned on, I can hear =
atmospheric noise
but when I release it, dead silence again.
