My beloved Kenwood HS-5 headset just lost the driver on one side,
and drivers are not available for replacement.
Has anyone tried other headsets and compared them to the HS-5,
and been happy? Or does anyone have a busted HS-5 he or she
wishes to sell, possibly with only one driver still working?
I would use them for both phone and cw, with my Omni VI, and
would wear them most of the time, rather than listen to the
speaker.
The HS-5 had several sets of earpieces, and I preferred the cloth
ones that made contact with the entire ear, and did not create an
enclosed air space.
