Gents,
I have an old Triton IV digital that I'd like to covert to operate on 17 and
12 meters. I think if the reference crystals used to operate the rig on the
28.5 to 29 and 29.0 to 29.5 bands were changed it could be aligned to work
on these bands. The reference crystals as well as the broadband LP filter
network would need modified. I don't think this would be that hard. Hardest
part is finding a manufacturer to grind the rocks.
Anyone tried this before??
