[TenTec] Paragon 585

Hi to all,

I'm new on this reflector, but an old user of Paragon 585.
I bought it new right from the factory, but still have some seemingly
uncurable problems with its PA.


But first,

    I found last night some info on possibility of modifying Paragon
585's RX front and making its RS232 protocol compatible with an ICOM's.
Perhaps, there might be some other improvements possible ?

    Be so kind, please, and enlighten me on the subject, probably
thoroughly
discussed already...
