I like to contest(even though it as been very casual recently). I use it
both phone and cw. Both modes are very comfortable and seemless. I prefer
using a footpeddle,voice keyers,and computer interface for phone and the
Omni VI is very smooth in regards to setup and operation due to a very
simplistic and uncluttered back panel. Audio reports are always good,and
pass band tuning work very well. My Wife's favorite button during contests
are the auto-notch,so slick! The Omni VI is not just a CW rig, its at home
on phone too.
