I notice my Corsair II produces clicking noises if I'm within 5Khz of a
strong (20 over 9) CW signal on 40 meters. Also, I hear SSB splatter
noises within 5 - 10 Khz of the strong broadcast stations on 40.
Do you Omni owners see the same things? Is it better or worse? I very
glad the effects disappear when I'm about 5 Khz away which suggest very
good receiver performance to me.
Boy I wish I had my old mint condition Drake R4-B to do an A/B
comparison!!!
