I'm the proud owner of a new (used actually) Scout. It came with 8 band
modules and they all seem to work fine, except for the 17 meter one. When I
plug it in and turn on the radio the display shows 18.1424 and doesn't move
when tuned. The manual says this means the module isn't plugged in all the
way. I've re-plugged it dozens of times and no dice. All the other modules
work just fine. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm guessing dirty contacts
or something may be bent, but it plugs ok. Guess I'll call Ten Tec Monday
and see what they say unless anyone here has a suggestion.

Thanks,
Jim
