To OMNI VI owners, I recall seeing someone post a problem that he had,
whereupon all signals sounded like they were chirping or had erratic
tones.Don't recall the reason o r the solution. I have been noticing
something like this on a very intermittant basis whereby I'll be
listening to a cw signal and suddenly it'll get rough in tone and sound
almost like an oscillator is jumping frequency-sort of warbling in tone .
The same effect will be heard on SSB signals which will get rougher in
quality. This only lasts for a short time then goes away. No set time for
when this will happen.
Could be gone for hours or not show up at all.
Any ideas?
