It's been a long time since I owned a Delta, but I *believe* you had to
order the MIXER OSC crystals. The display, like most Ten*Tecs, is
mechanical/electronic (i.e. a bandswitch tells the display which MHz LEDs
to light up). The KHz digits are derived from the VFO. So of course
there is a display, but without the mixer osc, no TX/RX.
But that's just an opinion, I could be wrong.
