Scott,

The OMNI-6 has adjustible CW off-set , down to 400 Hz. With OMNI-5, all you
can do is turn the PBT control as far to the low pitched side as you can
until the sensitivity dwindles down too far. (This too quiets the
background!). You can adjust your sidetone freq. to sort of match the lower
pitched received CW tones. And, turn the audio peak filter fully clockwise
(fully energized). Set its freq. to match the new, lower pitched CW sig.
tones......or buy an OMNI-6+.     :-)

Pse excuse my ignorence and I'll show plenty of that time to time, but
wouldnt' this require additional adjustments in the rig itself? I have an
Omni-V and no dsp.
