If they sold as many ham rigs as they do computers (now wouldn't that cause a
bit of QRM!) then we could have something like the Omni for $800 and like the
Scout for $200. But, you would also be able to buy something for $1800 that
would be state of the art and out perform any rig older then 2 years.  It would
combine a computer, voice recognition, connection to the internet, ARRL
connection for valid QSL's, logging capabilities, propagation prediction
software, ability to run by itself to contact others like it (while you are in
the QTH as control operator), works all modes and all bands, has very few
switches because it knows how to provide the best signal going out and get the
most out of what is coming in, can be configured to replicate the functional
capability of any previously existing rig By displaying their controls on the
monitor) so you could operate it just as you remembered (performance would match
the chosen rig), did I miss anything?
