Just in time for Field Day, I offer an Argo model 556 QRP transceiver
for sale with 3 band modules (80, 40, 20m), noise blanker installed, 701
hand mic, 296 mobile mounting bracket (unopened), and manual. Condition
is excellent, never used mobile, original owner, purchased July, 1995.
As you may know, additional plug-in band modules are available directly
from Ten-Tec to configure the unit as you prefer.
For a power supply, a Gel Cell can be adequate to supply the max rated 2
amps on transmit, or any small power supply.
This is a simple rig to operate, no training necessary, with the Ten-Tec
Jones filter.
I would like to sell as a package, asking price is $395 plus shipping in
the original boxes.
