Night and day. The Delta 1 or correctly, Delta 580 was a simple, ham band
only rig much like the older Omni D series except in a smaller cabinet and
a different IF amplifier frequency while the Delta 2 has a general
coverage receiver and the Jones filter arrangement in the IF. Vastly
different beast. Even the displays were different, the 580 using LED's and
the II using LCD.
