It's not really the PS for the 509/405 combo, but it'll work.  The PS for
that radio and amp was the Model 250.  Of course I have one :-)

Your 251 is "better" though.  Unlike the 250, the 251 has regulated the
output.  And your specs are wrong, Jim.  The TT Model 251 PS will deiver
UP TO NINE amps at 13VDC, regulated, NOT 13.

In fact, the 251 delivers 9A regualted continuous - 10A Max.  There is an 
electronic circuit breaker in it, and unless someone screwed with it, the 
breaker should pop at 10A.
