I would think that the lack of an external speaker jack might be due to some
safety requirement by "those who must approve" as it appears the audio leads are
not referenced to ground. Since they are in a potential RF environment these
leads may bring RF out of the box in sufficient quantity to be unsafe, violate
some emission rule or could even cause undesired ground loops. TT did it for a
valid reason, I am sure.
