Larry,
I haven't tried to do any Foreign Broadcast LW DX'ing with it, but I have
tuned around and copied many LW Beacons. It is as sensitive receiving those
as any receiver I have used here.  My  R8 didn't do any better any better...
I could not detect any difference in the atmospheric noise while switching
between 200khz and 1400khz. It is a very unscientific test, but if the
sensitivity was appreciably reduced below the am bcb it should be apparent
during that test.
