The meter in my Argosy used to get stuck at the high end all the time.
I found that the needle was bent slightly backwards - enough to cause it
to come in contact with the meter face.
It's not all that difficult to dismantle the meter, just make sure you
don't have any tiny flecks of debris lurking about!
