I am installing a new dial cord for the 229 ATU. With the TT restring kit
came two metal pieces that I think are for securing the ends of the stretch
string. I am not sure how these metal strips are used to secure the ends. The
are a little metal strip about 1/16th inch wide and about 3/4 inch long with
a hole at one end (looks like a d-104 mike 8-) ). TT is closed today so was
hoping someone could send me a note directly.
I can figue some way to do it but would like to do it properly...Alan KB7MBI
