[TenTec] ten-tec hand microphone?

This is correct. I was at Ten-Tec today and asked Scott about the
mikes. The older model 700 had a 9vdc battery. The newer model 700
has room for a 9vdc battery but not connector for the battery
(easy to add). The new model 701 is much smaller and does not
have, nor provide for, a battery.

It is certainly interesting what comes up on this reflector! I
would have never thought to look in my model 700 and see if there
is room for a battery.

The new hand microphone has no place or wiring for a 9 volt
battery
and apparently will only run with external voltage.
