Hi all,
First, for those who keep track of these things, for the TT net or
whatever...Old call KB8TRK, new call KI8JQ. Yes, I finally passed my
Advanced.
Second, for the guys using LOGGER with their Ten Tec rigs, in case you
didn't know about it, there is an e-mail reflector for logger. You have to
sift through a bit of drivel, ( the reflector is not as well mannered as
this one) but there is useful info to be found there. Go to www.egroups.com
and do a search for "Logger".
Third, a quick comment for the "Rice Box" thread regarding translating
Japanese to English. I recall a technical manual on a piece of equipment
that translated "hydraulic ram" to "water goat". Also a friend bought a
Japanese motorcycle once where the manual recommended wearing "groves" while
riding.
