    Before you input your Pegasus to the SB-200 amplifier you might want to 
read the following article:
    73 Amateur Radio, Aug. 1988, pages 42 & 44, entitled "Modernizing the 
SB-200."
    This is a quote from that article:  " . . . The problem is that the 
voltage present on the relay jack exceeds that allowed by the amplifier 
keying circuits of most new transceivers.  Trying to key the SB-200 with a 
new transceiver will most likely damage the internal relay."
    I made the modifications to my SB-200 suggested by this author and 
operated it for several years with my Ten-Tec Omni D with very good results.
    If you can't find this article, possibly I could send you an xerox copy 
if I had your snail-mail address.
