The Omni A, C, and D rigs are far superior to the Triton 4's in terms of the
receivers. The Triton Four's do not have the selectivity of the Omni rigs
since they use audio filtering. I've also found that front end overloading
on 40 meters is acute on the Triton rigs, whereas I've never experienced any
of these problems with the Omni rigs. I currentl;y have two Triton fours and
an Omni A and an Omni D. The Omni C has an even better receiver.
