[TenTec] Jumper wire in Corsair filter

Just purchased Corsair II without filters and bought and installed the 500hz
filter. I notice the jumper on the 18.khz filter was cut, do I really need
to put jumper back in since I don't now have the 1.8khz filter? What's the
downside if I don't?
