I recently bought used Scout 555....the fellow I bought it from sez finals
were replaced 4 years ago by Ten Tec.
My question is: he had power output set to max which, according to my three
watt meters, was more than 90+ watts output!! Not bad for a 50-watt rig, but
will this harm finals in the long run?
To be safe, I've already set it back to about 60-watts output. I know the
different between 60 and 90 is barely discernable at the receive end!
