Hi Alfred and all,

yes I had the same problem with my paragon I.
The catch is that after some tests with psk I damaged the processor chip in the
paragon.
It can easily be done because, the fact is, the processor is always left ON no
matter if you want it or not. By pressing or depressing  the processor switch
you just swap the output of the curciuts while the input line to both processor
path and mic is still connected.
The only remedy was to replace the op-amp in the processor line.
The operation does not cost much, because the op-amp is really cheap.

knob turned to its minimum.
Maybe, it's just the illogic you finally went to be hit by.
