Seems like the used Omni 6+ i bought from Ten Tec is malfunctioning after
about 3 weeks. At times the receiver seems to drop out, i.e., an S-9
station drops suddenly to an S-3 or so. not like in QSB, but suddenly. u
can hear the signal nearly null out. i hit the dit or dah paddle on my
keyer to transmit for a second, and the receiver pops back up to full
sensitivity. Anyone have any problems like that? I called Ten Tec and
looks like the rig needs to go back for repairs. am i disapointed?
