John, when you plug in the headset the internal Pegasus
speaker is disconnected. The audio in the computer speakers
is coming from the connection from the line output of
the Pegasus to the line in on your soundcard. You need to
disconnect that from the computer speakers using the windows
mixer controls. If you leave that connected it will cause
feedback when you use soundcard digital software like psk31
software. The Pegasus volume control changes the audio to
the headset and the internal speaker. It does not change
the line out on the Pegasus.
