I have been follwing the thread here. I was wondering if there are plans
available for building a larger capacity DC-DC converter that takes the input
voltage less and 12v and has an output of 12v. The device EPS-1 does that but
only 0.5 amp is the problem. Wouldn't this help resolve the problem? I know
as the voltage drops the battery power would probably drop quicker but you
could have a voltage monitor so when it gets to say 6v or so you know when
the power is about to run out.
