exactly the same situation on my side and I fighting against it
for weeks now.
OMNI 6+, Heil-headset, AMP on the side, but no computer control
cable and remote knob.
I think it is nor RF that picked up, it is NF.
Phil try stand by with the amp and hit only the ptt-key and listen
to a second receiver.
If the hum noise is still on, than still hit the ptt-switch and switch power
off
on the amp. Is the hum noise gone now in the second receiver?
Then you have the same problem.
If Phil´s problem is solved, mine too.
