I have not seen any mention of which antenna tuner is being discussed here.
So, I'll just mention something I read within the last month. And NO, I
don't remember where I read it. There was a thread on one of the several
reflectors that I subscribe to about RF being generated on TenTec gear,
specifically the Pegasus, when used with the LDG automatic tuner. I do
remember that there was a reply about the early LDG tuners having a CPU that
DID cause some RF in the transmitted audio when used with this particular
tuner. Later models DO NOT have this problem.
I seem to remember that the reply was from LDG and that the problem had been
eliminated in all of their automatic tuners. I wish I could be more helpful
with this, and it may not even apply to this particular problem. I guess my
memory is beginning to suffer somewhat from EARLY senior moments. Maybe
this will prompt someone else and they will remember more than I have.
