Aloha from Kauai,

As Gene Autry would have sung, " I'm back in the saddle
again.....", that is, back on the TT reflector! Been off for
a few weeks, and back using a new ISP and e-mail address.

Anyway, over the past couple of years, I have bought,
via the TT reflector a pair of complete Ten Tec stations:
a Triton IV with remote VFO, RF speech processor, 160
meter converter, and a new TT power supply; also a
complete Corsair II station, also with remote VFO and
a new TT power supply! Oh, the Triton also has the
"copy" of the Electro Voice mike! And, I have the TT manuals/
pamphlets sheets for each of these many items.

The Triton is the "state of the art" of the late 1970"s;
while the Corsair II is the same for the late 1980's.

I find, after fooling with these rigs awhile, I am no longer using
them. And it is very costly to ship this stuff back to the US
mainland. So, what I think I would like to do, is just GIVE
this gear to a couple of really deserving, appreciative, and
knowledgeable CW users who would really use these stations!

This stuff is ideal for the CW QSK DX and contest operator who
knows how to use split operation and QSK! Each is perhaps
optimum for such CW use. However, only the Corsair II
also covers the "new" WARC bands.

However, I no longer have the TT boxes for all this stuff. So,
to assure safe shipping, the recipient should be willing to have
TT ship the correct empty boxes out here for the various items,
and ALSO pay the shipping from Kauai back to where ever they
might be! So that is to be the price for this gear! What will this
cost? Well, probably $15 or so for each box, plus another
$10 or so each to have TT ship them out here; then, when
"filled" with the gear item, somewhere around $50 to $125
per item for shipping, via Fed Ex 2nd day air back to the
recipients QTH on the US mainland. Depends upon the
item weight. The power supplies, of course, are the most
heavy.

The Titan IV station with all the gear, VFO, and PS is probably worth
at least $600; while the Corsair II with new PS, and remote
VFO is worth at least $900 or more.

Maybe, someone right here on Kauai can convince me
they are a CW op who can really put these to use, or
elsewhere here in KH6 land.

Or, maybe, someone knows a really deserving new amateur
who has no gear at all, and would really, appreciate
one of these rigs!! But, I want some folks who know what
split operation means and would/could really use the remote
VFO's and all the features. That is, they must be willing
to really read the TT manuals and apply same knowledgably!!
That is, not just "I memorized all the answers for the test,
so now I are an amateur"! Someone who knows about RF
and radio....

Is that asking too much??

On the Garden Island of Kauai
