I'll be taking a look at your comments on the 6N2.
At present, I am in the process of getting ready for a
possible purchase of this rig. I have ordered a Mosley
6 meter beam, and I've got new coax on hand. I would
hate to have a new rig arrive and not be able to fire
it up right away!
A friend who is sort of a Ten-Tec nut would like the
6N2, but he already has an FT-100 in addition to his
Omni VI Plus. He does not want to lose the general
coverage should he get rid of the Yaesu, and he says
the rigs performs great on 6 and 2 at much higher
power than the Ten-Tec.
I like the FT-100 as well, but since I am not free to
travel much at present, my Scout will just fine. I
have not decided for sure to get the 6N2. Just
interested in hearing more comments about it now.
