Ed;

I was involved in helping Ten-Tec test a larger doorknob for 160m on a
#425 Titan, about 10 years ago. When loading into a dummy load on 160, be
sure power does not drop off from 1.5 KW to around 1 KW + - . If it does
not, you have the correct size doorknob. I believe it was rated at 15 KV
! It was huge vs the one it replaced. Sri I don't recall the value for
you. If power drops off, you need the larger value. They had changed
vendors, and the cap caused 160 RF to drop. I regrettably sold the Titan
but am satisfied with an AL-1500 with a single 8877 tube.

Just picked up a late model Titan, which covers the WARC bands. It's in
pristine condition, operationally and otherwise. Are there revisions
available to make it perform better on 160? Recommendations?
