The PM-2A covered 80-40-15 while the PM-2B covered 80-40-20. The PM-3 covered only 40 and 20, but had more power (2 transistors in final). The PM-3A had semi-break in keying.

Hi Ken;

Mine shows "Power-Mite" on the front and PM2 stamped on the rear. However, it is supposed to be a PM-3, since it covers 80-4020 meters. I beleive the 1 covered 80-40 and the 2 covered 80-40-15 meters.

We had an enjoyable time at the Ten-Tec H'Fest over the weekend.

I have what appears to be a PM-1. On the front is silk-screened "Model PM 1", and on the bottom inside it is stamped "Powermite 1". However, on the back it is stamped "PM2". I guess my confusion is in the Ten Tec ads I have seen seem to indicate a PM-1 did not come with a case, but a PM-2 did. Any of you collectors know if an early PM-2 was really just a PM-1 with a case?

Thanks,
