Yes, reference the 3 links below, I too agree these are good pictures.

For the life of me I don't see any gold trim on this front of this radio.
Just printed out the pix of the front, still no gold trim. Perhaps the
Tentec badge and ORION are in gold but........... no big deal. I like the
rounded corners on the front case and around the display. Leaves less
places for dust to collect. Nice touch on the illuminated buttons in the
Antenna and VFO selection areas. (Front left)

I would like to see AUDIO OUT at line level and AUDIO IN on the rear panel.
With my Omni VI+ this has proven to be a good place to get & send audio and
connect the sound card In/Out for PSK and other digital modes. That of
course may be on the AUX I/O connector. Time will tell. I suppose one can
DO direct FSK with the ORION. Don't see any reference however. Perhaps
I've missed something in all this. Enlighten me.

As to the case, well pems would be great but at additional costs. As to the
sheet metal screws, well with the fuse accessible from the outside (good
point by the way) then with Tentec reliability, I'm not concerned with
having to remove the cover. Oh yes, folks there are ASTM torque
specifications for tightening sheet metal screws.......follow it. It works.
I know, we used 1000's of them daily to assemble products costing 5 to 10
times the projected cost of the ORION. Customers never complained except
when we put in too many and they had to be removed to change a fuse.

Now lets see........the wife said buy it if I want it............hummm, if I
make out the check today............... :) :) ahhh yes, another fine
radio soon to be on the desk.

Also, the picture of the 516 is super.
