I asked this question of Ten Tec several years ago when I was seeking to add
some of the "odd" MARS frequencies to my OMNI VI. The short answer was
"yes, it would be somewhat possible depending on the frequencies, but I
would probably have to give up some of the ham bands already covered by the
Omni". So I decided to just stick to the MARS frequencies that were already
by covered by the Omni (i.e. 4.000 to 4.030 MHz).
