OK, the standard BNC is rated at 500 volts. At 50 ohms, that looks like 5
kW. (P = V squared over Z)  But, if you feel concerned, you can get BNC high
voltage version with about a one inch ribbed back insulator on the jack,
rated at 5000 volts!
