I've tried both the HC4 and HC5 with my Omni V and have found that the output
from each to be inadequate; I had to speak uncomfortably loudly to drive the
rig. Adding a preamp should do the trick.
I have had excellent results with a non-amplified Shure 444.

Has any one mated up the Heil HC5 microphone with the OMNI V?
Any suggestions for a microphone to go with the OMNI V. The TT manual says
low impedance.
